HIV/AIDS Ministry

HIV/AIDS Ministry: This ministry’s mission is to increase understanding and awareness of HIV and AIDS through service and education and to help preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life of persons and families affected by this disease. Volunteers strive to educate themselves and the parish community, provide assistance to people with HIV/AIDS and organizations that serve them, and sponsor drives to collect goods for those
affected by the disease.

Change Lives, Volunteer at Living Room

Living Room offers dynamic volunteer opportunities that will allow you to impact the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS.  Each year, Living Room provides housing and housing services to over 1250 people living with HIV/AIDS, and we can’t do it without the support of dedicated volunteers.  Whether you want to hands-on volunteer experience, want to help plan events, or want to help our office run smoothly, we have a volunteer opportunity for you.  We will provide an orientation and complete training for the role you will play at Living Room.  You can start your volunteer journey at Living Room by attending a 90-minute Volunteer Orientation, which will provide an in-depth overview of Living Room and its many volunteer opportunities.
