The Eucharist is the source and the summit of our Catholic life. Along with Baptism, it is a key to the Sacraments of Initiation. Often referred as “communion” the Eucharist is how we encounter Jesus and his real presence within our Catholic community.

The Sacrament of First Communion is usually celebrated in the 2^nd grade. At HC we offer a free standing program. Children must attend a minimum of one year of Faith Formation or Catholic School in order to be accepted into Sacramental Preparation. Acceptance is based on readiness and Mass participation.

Important: If you have a child in 3^rd thru 12^th grade that needs First Communion, your family has to attend the Family Special Sacraments program. Click here to find out more about our program.
