O God, we thank you for implanting the gift of faith in human hearts. We thank you for sending Jesus, your Son, as the fullness of your love. May his life and mission lead us to share in your divine life.
Today, we ask you to bless in a special way all inquirers who are being called by Jesus: “Come follow me.” Help them to persevere in their journey of faith despite any difficulties. Bless all those who minister to them through the RCIA program, under the guidance of your Holy Spirit, that they may lead others to a life of faith in Jesus Christ. Call us to a renewal of our faith, and inspire us all to be your light in the world. Amen
A journey of faith into the Catholic Church — interested in joining our class?
Classes in English are held on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
RCIA is for those who are unbaptized, as well as those who are baptized Christians from other Christian backgrounds. Baptized Catholics who have not yet received First Eucharist and Confirmation also are invited to RCIA.
Joining the class does not commit someone to join the Church. RCIA is an open and welcoming environment that provides opportunities for Inquirers to ask those perplexing and difficult questions that they may have about the Church. It will help Inquirers better understand the faith of their spouse or other family members (and dispel some misconceptions about the Church) –even if they decide not to join the Church.
Contact Director of Faith Formation, Delta Izaguirre at (678) 689-2819 ext 4 (Direct) or by email at: dizaguirre@holycrossatlanta.org to inquire about RCIA or Rich Escoffery at (770) 656-3337 at richescoffery@gmail.com. There is no cost, no obligation and everything to gain!
