Lectors of all ages proclaim the Word of God, and also communicate their own faith in that Word. Members of this important ministry are trained to proclaim the words of Scripture. Through proper training, lectors help the congregation to better understand the scripture and to successfully communicate their messages to the people in attendance at Mass.
