First Friday Sandwich Ministry
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Question: How long does it take to make 450 sandwiches?
Answer: With 10 people it averages 1.5 hours. Have some fun with this charitable endeavor and give back to the community as the Knights tackle this undertaking on behalf of the Soup Kitchen at The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Atlanta.
Every 1st Friday, with the assistance of other Holy Cross ministries, we will be making sandwiches starting at 6:00 pm in the Holy Cross Assembly Room. Anyone and everyone are welcome to come whenever they can get there to help out.
The following morning, a group leaves Holy Cross at 8:30 am to not only deliver the sandwiches, but feed the homeless. We’ll arrive at the Shrine at 9am, start serving about 9:30am until about 11am and arrive back at Holy Cross before noon.
Anyone is welcome and invited for some or all of the time both days. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Miguel Zumaran at communications@kofccouncil10355.org.
