Thursday Evening Adult Faith Formation

Jan. 4 – March 22, 2018 (7:30 – 9:15 p.m.)
(1 extra week has been built into the schedule in case of bad weather one week)

What are the sacraments? Why do we do what we do in the confessional or at Mass? What’s the point of baptizing a baby? The Bible and the Sacraments unveil the mystery of the sacraments and their foundation in Sacred Scripture.

Join author, speaker and St. Paul Center Executive Director, Matthew Leonard, in this stunning, awe-inspiring video series, in which the power of the sacraments come alive in a personal, new way through the following 11 lessons.

3 – The Waters of Salvation (Baptism)

Supplemental readings: Swear to God by Scott Hahn is the book upon which this study is based. Each lesson also contains readings from Speaking the Love of God by Jacob Wood and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We highly recommend the supplemental readings to help you complete the study. You also will need a Catholic Bible; the RSV version is recommended.
